UNA-GKC  Young Professionals (YP)  is a KC-based network of individuals that works together to make a positive impact on the international community. Want to make the world a better place, but not sure where to start? Volunteering with YP exposes you to young professionals from varying backgrounds – whether diverse nationalities or opposing careers. Through collaboration, YP members volunteer their time to  advocate for international issues  and innovate new ideas on how to facilitate global exchange.
 

YP Impact: A Passion for Change

• Events: YP organizes a variety of events – from panels to brown bags – focused on topical and current issues in international affairs.

• Mentoring: YP volunteers serve as peer-mentors for other members pursuing careers in their sector.

• Leadership Development: YP volunteers participate in organizational training aiming to develop skills and talents—from marketing to event planning to fundraising— of tomorrow’s leaders.
