UNA WOMEN

UNA Women is a committee of the United Nations Association of Greater Kansas City.  UNA Women has the mission to provide a voice, raise awareness and inspire change for women and girls, locally and globally. We believe that when we improve conditions for women and girls, we improve a whole community.

UNA Women  is a program of the United Nations Association of the United States of America (UNA-USA) that works to advance important and timely issues related to women and girls. UNA Women advocates for UN programs that further women’s rights and empowerment internationally. Focus areas of UNA Women include political and economic empowerment, human rights, peace and security, violence against women, and national planning and budgeting.

UNA Women is open to any current UNA-USA member.
