The list below is not exhaustive by any means, but is only a representation of the areas where our members find expression. Haumana DeBarthe, a student at the University of Kansas has been very involved in the annual mock United Nations assemble conducted by Johnson County Community College and is now serving on our board Another member of our association serves at the Ambassador for the Governor of Missouri in the Sister State program between Missouri and Nagano Prefecture in Japan. James Everett, a board member, also serves as the president of the Kansas City Interfaith Peace Alliance. Phil Caswell, a board member, is active in the Habitat for Humanity program. Charles Bebb, a board member, is the president of the World Federation Society. Manny Pedram, another board member is the director of the Global and Multicultural Education Center. (G.A.M.E.) Don McClain, a UNA member is leading a Peace Studies program at Park University at Parkville, MO and they are offering a minor in Peace Studies at the present time. George Belzer, a board member, is the Johnson County Community College faculty sponsor of one of the most successful Model UN teams in the country.
